• Describe a situation in which extreme flexibility was important to the successful performance of your job. How important do you think it is to be flexible in the job you’re seeking? Why? What’s the downside to being extremely flexible?
• Tell me about a situation in which your lack of flexibility hurt your overall job performance. How did you correct the situation? Tell me about a situation in which being flexible was difficult for you in some way.

• Following Directions

• (Continuum) On a scale between working creatively and following the directions of others, where do you fit?
• Tell me about a time when you disagreed with something that you were told to do, but did it anyway. To whom did you voice your disagreement? What was that person’s response? Would you have handled the matter any differently had you been in charge?

• Foresightedness

• Give me an example of a time when you averted a major problem by using foresight. What does foresight on the job involve?
• Tell me about a time when a failure at work could have been avoided had you only used a little foresight. What did you learn from the experience?
