o Give me an example of a time when you were assigned a major
project. How did you select those who would participate with you? How
did you manage those to whom project assignments were given?
o Tell me about a time when you delegated work to someone who didn’t
complete it in an acceptable manner. How did you handle the matter?

• Dependability

o Give me an example of a time when you had to go above and beyond
the call of duty to get the job done. What was at stake? What was the
payoff? Where did the extra energy come from?
o Tell me about a time when you had to sacrifice personal plans to
complete a job-related task. Was anyone other than you affected by
your sacrifice? If so, how would that person rate your dependability?

• Detail Orientation

o Tell me about a time when you were in charge of a major project
involving a multiplicity of detail. How did you manage the project while
paying attention to each detail? How important to the outcome are the
details of a project?
o The last time you were assigned a major project, how did you go
about planning the work to be done? What tools did you use? What
methods did you rely upon to ensure quality work completed in a
timely manner?
